On December 6, 2021, Subaru Motorsports USA became the first team to win American rally and rallycross titles in the same year. Drivers Travis Pastrana and Scott Speed finished first and second, respectively, at the 2021 Nitro Rallycross driver's championship and took home the Nitro RX teams championship. This, coupled with Pastrana's earlier American Rally Association championship, put the Subaru Motorsports USA team in rare air.
